The National University of Vanuatu is conducting a survey of recent graduates from 4 institutions in Vanuatu.
All students of former students of the Vanuatu Institute of Teacher Education (School of Education), Vanuatu Institute of Technology, Vanuatu Agriculture College, Université de Toulouse Bachelor AES, Master SES, UNC Master ADTO and Tourism and Hospitality are welcome to participate.
What are the objectives of this survey and why it is important to participate?
National University of Vanuatu (NUV) and its key national technical and vocational training institution: Vanuatu Institute of Technology, Vanuatu Agriculture College and Vanuatu Training School, are conducting the graduate tracer study over the coming months. The study investigates the employment outcomes of recent graduating cohorts from these tertiary institutions.
The issue of student employability is at the heart of NUV’s development and strategic priorities.
To support this, the Solidarity Fund for Innovative Projects, Civil Societies, Francophonie, and Human Development (FSPI) from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has provided funding towards the employability of students of the National University of Vanuatu project.
The graduate tracer study will provide a useful baseline in order to:
- Grow the employability of students from NUV
- Support key institutions to integrate into NUV
- Increase the profile of NUV in the national vocational training landscape
Pacific Consultant Limited (PCL) is conducting the project.
